5. Operating: Transformation Instructions

The Transmetal II Megatron figure converts between robot mode and dragon mode in 33 steps. Follow the steps below for a smooth transformation.

5.1. Robot Mode to Dragon Mode

1. Begin with the figure in robot mode.
2. Fold the robot's hands into the forearms.
3. Rotate the waist 180 degrees.
4. Collapse the robot's legs and feet to form the dragon's rear legs.
5. Extend the dragon's neck and head from the robot's back.
6. Position the wings, which are attached to the robot's back, to extend outwards.
7. Adjust the dragon's tail, which forms from the robot's arm, into position.
8. Ensure all panels and joints are securely tabbed or clicked into place.

5.2. Dragon Mode to Robot Mode

1. Begin with the figure in dragon mode.
2. Collapse the dragon's neck and head back into the robot's torso.
3. Fold the dragon's rear legs to form the robot's legs and feet.
4. Retract the wings against the robot's back.
5. Transform the dragon's tail into the robot's arm and extend the hand.
6. Rotate the waist 180 degrees to face forward.
7. Ensure all panels and joints are securely tabbed or clicked into place.
