2. Ohutusalane teave

Observe the following safety precautions during installation and handling:

  • Always disconnect power from your computer before opening the case or handling internal components.
  • Wear an anti-static wrist strap or frequently touch a grounded metal object (e.g., the computer chassis) to discharge static electricity. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage electronic components.
  • Handle the processor by its edges. Avoid touching the gold contacts or the top surface of the integrated heat spreader (IHS).

4. Seadistamine ja paigaldamine

4.3. Thermal Solution (CPU Cooler) Installation

The Intel® Laminar RM1 thermal solution is designed for easy installation.

  1. Valmistage jahuti ette: The included cooler typically has pre-applied thermal paste on its base. If not, apply a thin, even layer of high-quality thermal paste to the center of the processor's IHS.

7. Veaotsing
