WARNING: Electrical installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical codes and regulations.

• Always disconnect power before installing or servicing the heating mat.
• Do not cut or shorten the heating cable. Only the cold lead can be shortened if necessary.
• Ensure the heating mat is fully embedded in a suitable adhesive or leveling compound.
• Do not overlap heating cables or mats.
• Protect the heating mat from mechanical damage during and after installation.
• The heating mat must be connected to a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a tripping current not exceeding 30 mA.
• Do not install the heating mat under fixed furniture without legs (e.g., kitchen cabinets, bathtubs) or appliances that prevent heat dissipation.
• Ensure proper floor sensor placement for accurate temperature control.

The DEVIcomfort heating mat consists of a self-adhesive mesh with pre-attached heating cables. It is designed for quick and easy installation directly under various floor coverings.

4. Seadistamine ja installimine

4.1. Ettevalmistus

2. Plan the layout of the heating mat, avoiding areas under fixed installations.
3. Mark the position for the thermostat and the floor sensor conduit.
4. Cut a channel in the floor for the floor sensor conduit and the cold lead.

4.2. Mat Laying

1. Begin laying the mat from the thermostat connection point.
2. Unroll the mat, pressing the self-adhesive backing firmly to the subfloor.
3. To change direction, cut the mesh (do not cut the heating cable!) and turn the mat.
4. Ensure the heating cables are evenly spaced and not overlapping.

4.3. Elektriühendus

• Connect the cold lead to a suitable thermostat and power supply according to the thermostat's instructions and local electrical codes.
• Install the floor sensor into the corrugated conduit and place it centrally between two heating cables. The end of the conduit should be sealed to prevent ingress of leveling compound.
• Perform insulation resistance and resistance tests before and after embedding the mat. Record the readings.

4.4. Embedding

Cover the heating mat completely with a flexible tile adhesive or self-leveling compound. Ensure no air pockets remain around the heating cables. Allow the compound to cure fully before applying the final floor covering.

5. Töötamine

The DEVIcomfort heating mat operates in conjunction with a compatible floor heating thermostat (sold separately). The thermostat controls the on/off cycles of the heating mat based on the desired temperature settings and sensor readings.

• Esmane käivitamine: After installation and curing of the floor covering, wait at least 7 days before initial startup to allow all materials to fully dry and cure.
• Temperatuuri kontroll: Use the thermostat to set the desired floor or room temperature. Refer to your thermostat's user manual for specific programming instructions.
• Energiatõhusus: For optimal energy efficiency, consider programming your thermostat to reduce temperature during unoccupied periods or at night.

Note: This heating mat is designed to be controlled by a remote thermostat. The mat itself does not have integrated controls.

6. Hooldus

The DEVIcomfort Thin-Bed Heating Mat is virtually maintenance-free once installed correctly and embedded. However, general care of your floor covering is recommended.

• Avoid drilling or nailing into the floor where the heating mat is installed. Consult floor plans or use a cable locator if unsure.
• Ensure the thermostat is kept clean and free from dust.
• In case of any malfunction, do not attempt to repair the heating mat yourself. Contact a qualified electrician or the manufacturer's support.
