5.3. Initial Test

- Press RESET: The GFCI outlet should now have power. Press the RESET button. The LED indicator should turn GREEN.

If the GFCI does not reset or the LED does not turn green, check your wiring connections and ensure the power is on. If issues persist, consult a qualified electrician.

6.1. TEST and RESET Buttons
- TEST Button (Black): Used to manually trip the GFCI to verify its protection function. When pressed, the GFCI should trip, cutting off power to the receptacles.
- RESET Button (Red): Used to restore power to the GFCI after it has tripped (either manually or due to a ground fault).
