The AcuRite 06045M Lightning Detector Sensor is designed to monitor lightning strikes, outdoor temperature, and humidity. The sensor detects lightning strikes within a 25-mile (40-kilometer) radius. When lightning is detected, the Lightning Strike Indicator will flash, and an audible alarm will sound. The sensor transmits data every 24 seconds under normal conditions, and every 8 seconds once lightning is detected.

Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on your compatible display unit. Always replace all 4 AA batteries at the same time with fresh batteries.

• False Lightning Detections: The sensor is sensitive to electromagnetic interference. Position the sensor well away from the base unit if experiencing frequent false positives.
