2. Ohutusalane teave
- Always ensure the rack is securely mounted to your vehicle according to the specific fit kit instructions.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 165 pounds (75 kilograms) for the rack or your vehicle's roof, whichever is lower.
- Distribute the load evenly on the rack.
- Check all fasteners and straps regularly, especially before and after long trips.
- Be aware of the increased height and width of your vehicle when the rack is installed, particularly when entering garages or low-clearance areas.
- For vehicles with a sunroof: Due to the low-profile fit of the rack, it may not be possible to open the sunroof when the racks are installed. Always check clearance before opening your sunroof.
- Thule One-Key locks are sold separately and are recommended for securing your rack and accessories.

The Thule AeroBlade Edge system is pre-assembled for ease of installation. However, a vehicle-specific fit kit is required for proper mounting on fixed point and flush rail systems. Refer to the Thule Buyer's Guide to determine the correct fit kit for your vehicle.

The integrated T-track on the top of the bar allows for fast mounting and removal of various Thule accessories. Some carriers may require a Thule Xadapt kit for compatibility with the T-track system.

Once installed, the Thule AeroBlade Edge provides a secure platform for transporting gear. Its design incorporates advanced features for optimal performance:

- TrailEdge Design: The rear edge of the bar is designed to allow clean air separation, further minimizing aerodynamic drag.
- BoxBeam Structure: The internal BoxBeam load bar structure provides exceptional strength, making it one of the strongest aftermarket load bars available.
For added security, the rack is compatible with Thule One-Key locks (sold separately). These locks can be used to secure the rack to your vehicle and to lock accessories mounted on the T-track.
5. Hooldus
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Thule AeroBlade Edge rack:
- Puhastamine: Clean the bars and feet regularly with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
