- Always handle with care, especially when filled with hot liquids. The glass carafe can be fragile.

5. Operating Instructions: Making Coffee
- Kuum vesi: Heat fresh water to just below boiling (approximately 200°F / 93°C). Do not use boiling water directly, as it can burn the coffee.
- Lisa kohvipuru: Remove the plunger lid. Add coarse ground coffee to the bottom of the glass carafe. A general guideline is 1-2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces (180ml) of water, but adjust to your taste. For an 8-cup French press, this typically means 8-10 tablespoons of coffee.

- Vala vett: Slowly pour the hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are saturated. Fill to the desired level, leaving at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space from the top.

- Sega (valikuline): Gently stir the coffee and water mixture with a non-abrasive spoon to ensure even saturation.
- Järsk: Place the plunger lid on top of the carafe, with the plunger pulled all the way up. Do not press down yet. Allow the coffee to steep for 4 minutes for a medium brew. Adjust steeping time for desired strength.
- Vajutage: Slowly and steadily press the plunger straight down. Apply gentle, even pressure. It should take about 20-30 seconds to fully press. Do not force the plunger.

- Serveeri: Pour the freshly brewed coffee into your cup immediately to prevent over-extraction.

7. Veaotsing

Adjust the amount of coffee grounds used or the steeping time. For stronger coffee, use more grounds or steep longer. For weaker coffee, use fewer grounds or steep for a shorter duration. - Plunger is Hard to Press:
This usually indicates that the coffee grounds are too fine, or too much coffee was used. Ensure you are using coarse grounds and not overfilling. Never force the plunger down; gently pull up and try again. - Plunger is Too Loose:
The mesh filter might not be properly tightened or could be worn. Ensure all parts of the plunger assembly are securely screwed together. If the problem persists, the filter may need replacement.
