4. Seadistamine
4.1 Aku paigaldamine
The SINGER Handy Stitch operates on 4 AA batteries (not included). To install:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the underside of the machine.
- Lükake kate lahti.

- Continue guiding the thread through the remaining thread guides towards the needle.
- Use the provided needle threader to thread the needle from front to back. Pull about 4-6 inches of thread through the needle eye.
5. Kasutusjuhised
5.1 Õmblemise alustamine
- Lift the presser foot using the lever on the side of the machine.
- Place the fabric under the presser foot, aligning the edge with the needle.
- Langetage pressijalg kangale.
- Hold the fabric gently with one hand. Press the power button (or trigger) to start sewing. The machine will begin to stitch.
5.2 Stitching Techniques
The Handy Stitch produces a single chain stitch. Guide the fabric slowly and evenly to maintain a straight seam. Do not pull or push the fabric forcefully, as this can bend the needle or affect stitch quality.
5.3 Finishing a Seam
- When you reach the end of your seam, stop the machine by releasing toitenuppu.
- Lift the presser foot and gently pull the fabric away from the machine, leaving a few inches of thread.
- Cut the thread, leaving a tail.
- To secure the chain stitch, pull the thread tail through the last loop of the stitch on the underside of the fabric and tie a knot.
