Vitafit scales typically calibrate automatically. Step on the scale to turn it on, then step off. Wait for 'CAL' to appear on the display, followed by '0.00'. Once '0.00' is displayed, the scale is calibrated and ready for use.
The 'Lo' message indicates that the batteries are low. Replace the batteries (usually 3x AAA) with new ones to ensure accurate readings.
