REESE support FAQ
Selle kaubamärgi kasutusjuhendite, registreerimise ja toe kohta käivad levinud küsimused.
-
What is the towing capacity of my REESE hitch?
Never exceed the lowest towing capacity rating of any component in your towing system. Check the label on your hitch receiver, but also verify your vehicle's towing capacity in the owner's manual. The lower of these two numbers is your maximum limit.
-
Do I need a weight distribution hitch?
A weight distribution hitch is generally recommended if your trailer weight is more than 50% of your vehicle's weight or if the rear of your tow vehicle sags when the trailer is hooked up. It helps restore the front axle load for better steering and braking control.
-
How often should I torque the hitch bolts?
You should re-check and re-torque all fasteners after the first 250 miles (400 km) of towing and before each towing operation thereafter to ensure they remain at the specifications listed in your installation manual.
-
Where can I find replacement parts for my REESE hitch?
Replacement parts can be ordered through authorized REESE dealers or by contacting Cequent Performance Products Technical Service at 1-800-632-3290.
