  Check that the transmitter is powered on and connected correctly to the TV's audio output (not input). Ensure the TV audio settings are set to 'PCM' (for optical connections) or 'Headset/External Speaker' (for 3.5mm/RCA connections). Also, verify the headphones are charged and turned on.
